Apricots, Almonds and Brie in Fillo Pastry Cups
Do you have family or friends coming for dinner and want an easy appetizer/hors d'oeuvre that will truly impress all your foodie folks? Or a fast quality treat for yourself with a glass of wine after a hard day at work? Here is an on-trend small bite with a French influence, in a matter of minutes. Ingredients
- The Fillo Factory Fillo Cups - 1 box
- apricot preserves - 1 jar good quality
- Brie cheese - small wheel
- sliced almonds - 1/2 cup as needed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Remove the Fillo cups from the package and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Deposit a teaspoon of the apricot preserves in the bottom of each Fillo shell. Cut the brie into half inch by one inch rectangles and place on top of the Apricot preserves. Place a few sliced almond pieces on each portion and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese is starting to melt and turning golden in color. Remove from the oven and slightly cool. Place on a serving tray and enjoy!
